Built on the Expertship Institute’s globally tested methodology, the program develops the capabilities most experts are never formally taught: enterprise thinking, influencing without authority, stakeholder engagement, leading collaboration, and navigating complex organisational politics.

Development You Won’t Get from General Leadership Programs
Mastering Expertship addresses the real gaps for experts: enterprise skills, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and navigating power and politics – all through the lens of staying deeply expert.
Mastering Expertship has two key modes of delivery:
Virtual Pods
Small groups (“pods”) of 3 to 5 experts work together over a series of virtual sessions, combining learning, reflection, peer-based coaching, and practical application back in the workplace. This format works well across locations, time zones, and hybrid work environments.
There are two 4-hour sessions and six 2-hour sessions that can be spread over 3 to 6 months.
Each pod also includes:
One 30-minute online briefing session for the participants’ managers.
Two 30-minute check-in sessions between the coach, the participant, and their manager.
Two 30-minute 1-on-1 coaching sessions with each participant.
One virtual session where participants share their key learnings and outcomes with each other, their managers, and any other senior leaders who are interested in attending.
Upon completion, each participant receives a qualification and lifetime access to the Expertship Alumni program and the Expertship learning portal.
