ABOUT THE EXPERTSHIP INSTITUTE
Since 2015, The Expertship Institute has existed to unleash the potential of subject matter experts worldwide. Its mission is to help experts master the skills that complement their deep technical capability—enabling them to influence, collaborate, and contribute at higher strategic levels.
The Institute’s programs and resources are delivered globally through licensed partner organisations, including accredited coaches and facilitators like myself, who support organisations in developing their expert workforce.

Mastering Expertship™ is the Institute’s flagship development program for subject matter experts. It is a 4- to 6-month program that equips experts with the enterprise skills they are often not formally taught, such as strategic thinking, influence, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and navigating politics. These are delivered from the perspective of influencing through expertise, not the participant's management level.
The program includes interactive group workshops, 1on1 coaching, and 360-degree feedback from peers, stakeholders, and managers.

Leader of Experts™ is an 8-week blended development program that helps managers understand how experts think, work, and are motivated—so they can get the best out of their technical teams. The program combines an interactive group workshop with 1on1 coaching sessions to support leaders in applying the best-practice approaches that are often specific to leading experts.
Delivered virtually or face-to-face, with a minimum of six participants for in-house cohorts.

Participants receive a fully supported, ethical process: respondent selection guidance, a coach-led feedback session, and a Personal Growth Plan aligned with their manager’s perspective. Additional 1-on-1 coaching is available.
